Angel

Another dream. You and I are dancing in a dark room, the only light coming from the Christmas tree in the corner. Your face is orange, green, blue, then red, and the music is quiet and soft like a lullaby. You look into my eyes that are blue and damp like fog in the city. And as your face moves closer, an angel calls my name and I turn away from your lips and look at the voice behind me. And the angel tells me that I must leave you and the lights and the dark room and never feel your kiss.
