Gibberish

through the forest, green with pity
deep green
deep pity

searching in the back of the closet for a
good fit
from the day
I first saw you standing
underneath that tree

do you hear the chimpanzee
calling you home?

let it ring

is it so wrong to want you
to come home
again?

is it so wrong to want you?

is it so bad?

I hear the natives singing our song
do you remember when
I first saw you standing
underneath that tree

looking so festive
like a tree
goddess
what a pity
you were so pretty then
