Fashioned After You

I sit here looking at the wall
nothing falling into place
nothing falling out of place

diamonds on fingers of ice
frozen on a day in june
sometime ago
look at the wall
look at that picture
it leans a little to the left

call me over
to straighten the crease that runs
down the back of your dusty tuxedo
faded away
black and blue

younger looking you say
your number is unlisted now
I didn't need to call
anyway
